Best part about blading in 2017:
-New tricks happening all the time
-Some higher quality products coming around
-Wheel size doesn’t matter… “Gold jacket, green jacket who gives a shit.” -Happy Gilmore
Worst part about blading in 2017:
-Not many young bucks these days. Especially in the US.
-People always comparing present day skating to the ever sacred OG Hammer laying era
-Lack of companies with cool soft goods
Wallride - Skyline
Blader do's and don'ts
-Think outside the box and have an open mind when it comes to having fun on the skates. No matter size of the obstacle, there’s some fun to be had.
-Go hard while you still can. OR just chill and do the same tricks you been doing for years. As long as it’s still fun and doesn’t feel like a chore.
-Support all the companies you like by buying some gear.
-Don’t get strung out trying to do the same tricks as everyone. Get out there and get weird.
-Don’t let all the blade hate get to you. Learn to laugh and joke about your own goofy-ass self, it’ll go a long way.
-Confidence is key but don’t be cocky. Not many people care if you got the dope 6-piece switch up on lock.
